Iain McCowan is the founder and CEO of Dev-Audio, a Gold Coast based company developing innovative audio software and hardware based on microphone array technology.  

Motivated to see technologies progress from research to the market, he has hands-on experience in building a technology start-up as well as conducting international R&D projects.

Iain holds a PhD, B Eng and B IT from the Queensland University of Technology, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has worked in a variety of management and technical roles, in projects ranging from academic research to industrial software and hardware development. Iain has a global outlook, shaped by experience gained living and working in different countries, cultures and languages, and collaborating in international teams.
